At the January board of directors meeting of the Cocalico School District, several tokens of appreciation created by school students were presented to the board members.

The fourth grade students in Jill Lutz’s class at Denver Elementary School painted and framed pictures depicting important aspects of the Cocalico curriculum. Middle school students in Kim Barlow’s family and consumer science classes made cookies for the board members.

Students at Adamstown Elementary School donated candy and pictures of the student body, and the Reamstown Elementary School English as a second language teacher, Deb Raudenbush, coordinated the giving of potted plants to each board member.

Dr. Bruce Sensenig and Ella Musser presented the gifts in honor of the Pennsylvania School Board Recognition Month.
