Barnstorming the fight against cancer
Cylo, the Lancaster Barnstormers’ mascot made his way to the Relay Rally at the Cocalico High School cafeteria on Tuesday, Feb. 3, to spread the word about the upcoming Relay for Life of Norlanco and a special event preceding it.
Cylo was on hand to help announce the partnering of the Barnstormers with the Norlanco Group for a special event set for May 1.

That night, the two organizations will paint the night purple as they honor cancer survivors before, during, and after the game.
The game will end with a special luminaria ceremony. All the local Relay teams will be involved and the public is welcome to participate.
Relay team members will be selling tickets and a part of the proceeds will go directly to the American Cancer Society. The tickets are $12 and there is something special for the first 1,000 people at the stadium that evening, according to Relay officials.
More information is available by contacting Sharon Groff at sgroff56@gmail.com or Frida at frida.inchaustegui@cancer.org.
The Relay For Life of Norlanco will take place June 19 and 20 at the Garden Spot High School track. The next Relay Rally is set for the Cocalico High School cafeteria on Tuesday, March 3, at 6 p.m.
