Bollman supplied winter headwear to Mary’s Shelter and Opportunity House, both located in Reading, as part of The Headwear Association’s nationwide Headwear for the Homeless campaign.

Bollman distributed hundreds of new hats on Dec. 17 to provide bit of warmth and comfort to those who are disadvantaged.

When temperatures rapidly descend during those long winter months, thousands of the underprivileged are left in freezing temperatures. People lose up to 80 percent of body heat through their head.
