C4CP encourages residents to attend meetings Group forms to support regionalization of East Cocalico Township Police

Citizens For Cocalico Police (C4CP) would like to remind residents to attend upcoming meetings and support regionalizing East Cocalico’s Police Department.

C4CP is a group of citizens who formed to support the regionalization of East Cocalico Police Department after East Cocalico supervisors proposed a new contract and Northern Lancaster County Regional Police Department was considered as an option for police coverage.

Denver Borough’s council meeting will be held on Sept. 30 at 7 p.m. at 501 Main St. in Denver. Adamstown Borough Council Meeting is held on Oct. 1 at 7 p.m. at Saint Paul’s Lutheran Church, 80 E. Main St. in Adamstown. Cocalico Supervisor’s meeting is held Oct. 3 at 7 p.m. at 156B W. Main St. in Reinholds. Members of C4CP will be attending meetings and voicing support for East Cocalico Regional Police Department and encourages residents to do so as well. The group also urges residents to meet with local officials to express their support.

C4CP also distributed petitions in support of regionalization of the East Cocalico Police Department.
