Roman Denisenko of Denver was named to Bob Jones University’s University Singers, BJU’s largest choral organization which is also known as the freshman choir. Denisenko is a freshman majoring in graphic design.

Kittler graduates from basic training Army Reserve
Pfc. Karl E. Kittler has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values, physical fitness, and received instruction and practice in basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training, drill and ceremony, marching, rifle marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, map reading, field tactics, military courtesy, military justice system, basic first aid, foot marches, and field training exercises. Kittler is a 1996 graduate of Cocalico High School, Denver. He earned an associate degree in 1998 from York Technical Institute.
Abraham receives laptop
Freshmen that enrolled into the School of Engineering at Widener University last fall that were among the top of their high school class were recipients of laptops thanks to the school’s 2013 Engineering Laptop Scholarships. Justin Abraham of Reinholds was among this year’s recipients.

Adam Gockley was named to the summer 2013 Dean’s List at University of the Sciences.
Oberly inducted to Pi Gamma Mu
Mark Oberly, son of Karen and Gary Oberly of Denver was recently inducted into the Pi Gamma Mu international honor society of the social sciences at Salisbury University. Pi Gamma Mu promotes excellence in, and recognizes outstanding contributions to the social sciences. Oberly is junior majoring in history and philosophy and is a member of the Outdoor Club and the Bellavance Honors Program.

Weidman part of award-winning project
The Kutztown University chapter of the National Broadcasting System was named Model Chapter of the Year for excellence in service and their high level of achievement and activity. KU also brought home the Grand Prize in the Video Promotion category for their 2013 Kutztown University Football promo. Patrick Weidman of Reinholds was involved in the project. All awards were presented at the NBS national conference in Hollywood, Calif.
Sensenig makes honor society
Danielle Sensenig of Denver was initiated at KutztownUniversity into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines.
