Cocalico police log/East Cocalico Police coverage area

The East Cocalico Police Department reported the following:

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Officers responded to a fight reported in the parking lot of the Denver Orioles in the 200 block of Main Street, Denver Borough, Feb. 13. The investigation indicated that Steven Dale Irvin, 35, was engaged in a physical confrontation inside the bar and was removed. The fight continued in the parking lot. Irvin was charged with disorderly conduct April 5 and a summons was sent.

DUI: Donald B. Martin, 73, was stopped for a red light violation on Colonel Howard Boulevard at Route 222, East Cocalico Township, at 1:28 a.m. March 22. He displayed signs of impairment and was arrested for suspicion of DUI. A blood test revealed a blood alcohol concentration of 0.134 percent. DUI and related charges were filed April 6.

DUI: Michael Asa Witman, 56, was stopped for erratic driving in the 2500 block of N. Reading Road, East Cocalico Township, at 7:40 p.m. March 27. He was arrested for suspicion of DUI. A blood test revealed a blood alcohol concentration of 0.132 percent. DUI and related charges were filed April 6.

DUI: Tyler Scott Grace, 19, was stopped for a broken tail light in the 2100 block of North Reading Road, East Cocalico Township, at 11:22 p.m. March 27. He displayed signs of impairment and was arrested for suspicion of DUI. A blood test revealed he was under the influence of marijuana. A small amount of marijuana was found in his possession subsequent to arrest. DUI and possession of marijuana charges were filed April 6.

WARRANT: Officers received information that Austin Gilbert, 28, had an outstanding warrant through the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Department. He was located at 2017 N. Reading Road, East Cocalico Township, at 10:26 p.m. April 10 and taken into custody. He was released to the duty deputy.

DUI: Lydia Dambrosio, 41, was stopped for erratic driving in the 1600 block of North Reading Road, East Cocalico Township, at 10:42 p.m. March 25. She displayed signs of impairment and was arrested for suspicion of DUI. A blood test revealed a blood alcohol content of 0.192 percent. Charges were filed April 11.

TRESPASS: Cory D. Lorah, 38, of the 300 block of Southview Road, Fleetwood, was charged with criminal trespass after an incident that occurred in the first block of South Fourth Street in Denver Borough Feb. 16. It is alleged that on that date, Lorah stole three catalytic converters valued at $100 from behind a residence. A neighbor witnessed the theft and was able to obtain a vehicle registration. Lorah was identified and admitted to the theft. Lorah paid restitution and, at the request of the victim, was charged with criminal trespass in lieu of theft. He will be sent a summons.
