The Cocalico Education Foundation, an organization that supports special classroom and school projects and provides scholarships and other supports for Cocalico students, is hosting a community yard sale in the Denver Elementary School parking lot on April 14 with a rain date of April 21. The yard sale will be open to stand holders at 7 a.m. and customers from 8 a.m. to 12 noon. Customers should park behind Denver Elementary School.

Anyone wishing to host a stand can reserve space by completing an application and mailing it, along with the rental fee of $10 to Denver Elementary School, Attn: Sharon Myers, 700 S. Fourth Street, Denver, PA 17517 or by dropping it off at the Denver Elementary School office. Applications can be printed from the Cocalico Education Foundation’s website or picked up in any of Cocalico’s school offices. Completed applications are due by March 6. The foundation will secure a permit to cover the yard sale.

The public is invited to take advantage of this opportunity to get rid of unwanted items, shop at many stands in one convenient location, and help the students of Cocalico School District.
