Denver Nest 54 Auxiliary donates $1,000 to CEF
Denver, Pennsylvania – April 9, 2014 – The Ladies Auxiliary of the Denver Nest 54 Fraternal Order Orioles recently donated $1,000 to the Cocalico Education Foundation (CEF). The generous donation was specifically given to the Cocalico Family Fund. This fund provides financial assistance to families with hardships not supported in other ways. Since its inception in 2009, the Cocalico Family Fund has helped families by funding numerous items such as: eyeglasses, prescription medication, psychological evaluations, dental visits, rental assistance, food, uniforms for the CTC, supplies for school graduation, funeral assistance, educational trips, summer school, and medical supplies. Because of generous donations from staff members, community members, and organizations such as the Ladies Auxiliary of the Denver Nest 54 Fraternal Order Orioles, nearly $14,500 have been given to needy families over the past five years.
