A Denver woman told police her husband assaulted her twice in three days, authorities say.

Evan W. Eckert, 40, of the 100 block of South Fourth Street, punched her multiple times, choked her and threatened to kill her at his home around 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, she told East Cocalico Township police.

The woman also said Eckert assaulted her on Friday.

She had multiple abrasions, bruises and cuts on her face, neck and body, police said.

Eckert left the home but Ephrata police found him in that borough.

East Cocalico Township police charged him with misdemeanor counts of simple assault-domestic violence, stalking and terroristic threats and a summary charge of harassment.

Eckert is on probation for a domestic violence-related assault in August 2015, police said. He was taken to the Lancaster County Central Booking for arraignment. County probation officials also issued a detainer for Eckert.
