East Cocalico Police Report, February 16, 2017

The East Cocalico Police Department reported the following:

THEFT: A theft was reported in the first block of Ingham Drive, East Cocalico Township, Feb. 2. Justin Deater, 35, stole several video gaming items from the residence and was charged with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.

POSSESSION: Cody Elliot, 19, was stopped for a traffic violation in the first block of Rosemont Drive, East Cocalico Township, at approximately 11:37 p.m. July 25. A small amount of marijuana was found in his possession during the stop and was later confirmed through a drug test. Marijuana possession charges were filed Feb. 8.

ASSAULT: Charles L. Williams, 25, of the 1200 block of West Swartzville Road in East Cocalico Township was charged with simple assault and harassment after an incident at his residence at 12:54 a.m. Jan. 2. Williams, who resides in a group home, assaulted his live-in social worker. The victim, who was bleeding from his hand, told officers that Williams had bit him and struck him several times with a phone. Williams was taken to an area hospital for an evaluation and referred to county authorities.

THEFT: Justin M. Pajski, 20, Sinking Spring, was charged with theft by unlawful taking after it was discovered that Pajski wrote checks worth $400 on the account of an individual that he had previously lived with in Denver Borough. Pajski admitted to taking the checks and cashing them. Pajski plead guilty to the theft Feb. 8 and was sentenced to fines and costs. He has since reimbursed the victim for the losses.
