Horse show set for Sunday

The Pennsylvania Arabian Horse Association, South Central District, is hosting an open fun show Sunday, Aug. 28, beginning at 9 a.m., at the Friendly Horseman’s Club Show Grounds, 260 Kline Road, Stevens.

All breeds are welcome and there will be classes for nearly everyone. The organization is a Paint Alternative Competition Affiliate and this is an Arabian Horse Association Open Event Incentive Program.

There is a complete dressage division, including Western and sport horse division, a walk-trot division of 18 and under, and an English age splits 19 and over.

There is also a gymkhana divisions, including walk-trot, as well as fun classes including Ride a Buck, Simon Says, and Egg and Spoon.

Food will be available on the grounds. The public is encouraged to attend and admission is free of charge.
