To assist with her college and career goal, Plaksin is enrolled in or has taken television production, digital photography, and 2-D art. She hopes to attend The Pennsylvania College of Art and Design to major in television production with a minor in photography. Plaksin is also involved in Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Jazz Band, Pep Band, Marching Band, Concert Choir, Choralaires, and Cocalico Playmakers.

When she’s not busy participating in music or theater-related school activities, Plaksin volunteers for a company that performs live renditions of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. In her free time, Plaksin enjoys painting, drawing and photography.

In the activities surrounding homecoming, Plaksin chose James Owen Cutts as her escort. He is the son of George and Marina Cutts.

Plaksin’s last name and that of her parents was misspelled in information provided to the Review by the Cocalico School District. The Review regrets the misinformation printed in the Sept. 23 issue.
