Police log: Ephrata and East Cocalico coverage areas

Ephrata Borough Police Department reported the following:
THREATS: Police charged Aleksey A. Tverdokhleb, 21, Reinholds, with terroristic threats and simple assault for his role in an altercation in the 700 block of West Route 897, West Cocalico Township, July 8 at 11:50 p.m.
The Ephrata Police Department covers West Cocalico Township and Adamstown Borough. 


The East Cocalico Police Department reported the following:
DRUG VIOLATION: Officers were dispatched to assist Adult Probation at 240 Main St., Denver Borough, at 11:59 a.m. June 30. Shawn Killinger, 31, was found to be in possession of marijuana, Clonazepam, drug paraphernalia and a prohibited offensive weapon. Charges were filed and a detainer was issued.
BURGLARY: A burglary was reported at the Cocalico Community Chapel, East Cocalico Township, at 8:22 a.m. July 5. The church and detached office building were entered.
BURGLARY: A burglary was reported at St. John’s Church of Christ, Denver Borough, 5:51 a.m. July 11. Rooms in the church and adjoining day care center were entered.
THEFT: A theft was reported at the Reamstown Elementary School, East Cocalico Township, at 8:24 a.m. July 11. Numerous construction items were stolen over a two-day period.
The East Cocalico Police Department covers East Cocalico Township and Denver Borough.
