Stoudt’s sets Winter Craft Brew Festival
Stoudt’s Brewing Co., Adamstown, is holding a Winter Craft Brew Festival on Saturday, from 6 to 10 p.m., at the brewery, 2800 N. Reading Road.
Attendees can sample some winter warming ales and lagers from a selection of craft breweries, complemented by hearty, warm, festive food.
This year’s festival will have a theme of winter solstice and folklore with prizes given for best costumes and displays. For dress inspiration, consider “John Snow” and the “Wildlings” from Game of Thrones: capes and fur for hunting and much celebrating after a battle. Perhaps transforming into a winter beast would be more appealing, like the Abominable Snowman, Bigfoot, or Yeti.
The Good Lovin’ Jamband from Reading will provide live music for dancing.
Among the special brews, Stoudt’s is pouring barrel-aged Fat Dog Stout AKA Winey Dog and Evil Genius is pouring a chocolate peanut butter porter. Traveler and Saucony Creek and several other breweries are expected to be on hand with their beers.
Cost is $35 per person in advance, $40 at the gate.
