Neil Ryan Vestermark of Denver graduated from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School on May 20. The following local residents have been named to Millersville University of Pennsylvania’s (MU) dean’s list for the spring semester: Jayne A. Althouse, a senior from Denver; Darin A. Beachy, a senior from Denver; Christopher J. Fieger, a sophomore from Denver; Crystal A. Fisher, a senior from Denver; Alisha Fitzwater, a senior from Denver; Sean T. Forsyth, a senior from Denver; Samantha L. Gibson, a junior from Stevens; Korrine M. Graybill, a freshman from Stevens; Austen H. Lambert, a senior from Denver; Kevin S. Martin, a senior from Reinholds; Christina M. McLaughlin, a junior from Reinholds; Jackie A. Morgan, a freshman from Reinholds; Gary Savitsky, a sophomore from Stevens; Kristyn L. Starr, a freshman from Denver; Samantha L. Ulrich, a sophomore from Denver; Kyle D. Vernau, a sophomore from Denver; and Kimberly C. Zuniga, a freshman from Denver. Two local residents were awarded master’s degrees by The University of Scranton at its post-baccalaureate commencement on May 26.

Diane C. Hauser of Denver received a master of science in curriculum and instruction from the Jesuit university’s College of Graduate and Continuing Education.

Matthew Horning of Denver received a master of science in educational administration from the Jesuit university’s College of Graduate and Continuing Education. Two local residents were among the 576 students who received degrees during commencement exercises at Grove City College on May 19.

Tyler Martin earned a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering degree. Martin is a 2008 graduate of Garden Spot High School and is the son of Robert and Janice Martin (Janice) from Denver.

Hannah Hoover earned a bachelor of arts degree in communication studies. She is a 2008 graduate of Veritas Academy and is the daughter of Jane and Donald Hoover Jr. (Jane) from Denver. Two local residents were awarded master’s degrees by The University of Scranton at its post-baccalaureate commencement on May 26.

Matthew Horning of Denver received a master of science in educational administration from the Jesuit university’s College of Graduate and Continuing Education. Ethan Sellers of Denver, a recently graduated biology major, was named to dean’s list at Lycoming College for the spring semester. Dr. Bashar Hanna, vice president for academic affairs and dean of the faculty at Delaware Valley College, announced that Brittany Mills of Reinholds is among the college’s May list of graduates. Kathryn Bucolo of Denver has been named to the dean’s honor list at Gettysburg College for outstanding academic achievement in spring.
