The 50th annual Lititz Outdoor Fine Art Show will be held Saturday, July 30, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., rain or shine, in the Lititz Springs Park, 24 N. Broad St.

There is no admission charge for the show. It will showcase the art of more than 147 artists, working in oils, acrylics, watercolor, pastels, drawing, ceramics, mixed media and sculpture. The artists hail from all parts of Pennsylvania, and nine other states.

Lititz Springs Park provides a scenic, tranquil background for visitors to watch the artisans at work. Most work will be for sale.

This art show is held the last Saturday of July and has been a tradition in Lititz for 50 years. The late Floyd Hackman started the Art Show when he was the president of the Village Art Association of Lititz. The show has grown, along with the association, which now is the Lititz Art Association.

Originally the show was on the sidewalks of Lititz, but after many years it was moved to the cooler, beautiful Lititz Springs Park. The Floyd Hackman Award is just one of the over $2,000 in awards that will be presented.

Lunch can be purchased from several concessions and enjoyed in the shady pavilions in the park.
