Black carpet premiere ushers in EPAC’s ‘American Idiot’

Music from Green Day’s 2005 LP “American Idiot” peppers the musical by the same name, opening at EPAC on July 20. A black carpet premiere will take place prior to the opening. Guests are encouraged to take a page from Green Day’s (pictured) playbook, and dress in their finest punk rock gear.

Fine Living Lancaster is sponsoring a black carpet event at Ephrata Performing Arts Center on Wednesday, July 20, to celebrate the premiere of its new show, “American Idiot.” EPAC is located at 320 Cocalico St., Ephrata.

Guests are invited to dress in their punk rock best, walk the black carpet, and enjoy themed food, drinks, and activities that evening. The event begins at 6 p.m. with food by The Hill and drink by Wacker Brewing Company.

Guests will have the chance to sign a “graffiti” wall, record a video, and have their picture taken in style. After the show, guests will also be treated to a special performance by 1.21 and a chance to meet the cast.
