Bube’s is a hopping concert venue

By on June 7, 2017

Concerts are held every Sunday night this summer in the Biergarten at Bube’s, in Mount Joy.

Enjoy free summer concerts in the Biergarten at Bube’s Brewery, 102 N. Market St., Mount Joy, every Sunday through Labor Day weekend. Concerts run each evening from 6 to 9 p.m.

The Biergarten Restaurant is an open air Biergarten reminiscent of a drinking garden one may have found in Alios Bube’s Bavarian homeland. In the middle of the Biergarten is the huge original boiler and smokestack used to create the steam power necessary to run the brewery.

Patrons can play a selection of pub games scattered about the space, including classics like garden chess, all-weather corn hole, and billiards.

It’s not just the Biergarten that’s hopping at Bube’s. Fine dining and themed feasts are available in The Catacombs while casual dining and intimate concerts are offered in The Bottling Works. Alois, named after the original owner, is located in the Victorian-style hotel connected to Bube’s that Alois Bube built for guests around 1880. It plays hosts to jazz concerts all summer. Murder Mysteries, karaoke, trivia, ghost tours, and an Escape Room round out their slate of activities.

For reservations and information, call 653-2056, or visit bubesbrewery.com. Free tours of the catacombs are available daily from 5:30 to 9 p.m.
