Buy Dad a gift on 2nd Friday

Lititz Trinity, 44 E. Orange St., will be hosting a 2nd Friday worship service outside in the parking lot, June 14, from 6 to 9 p.m. An informal time of worship music, there will be three sets of music, beginning on the hour. Lititz’s 2nd Friday observance take place on Friday night, June 14, from 5 to 9 p.m. in downtown Lititz. Here’s what happening:

Aaron’s Books is hosting author Amy Rebecca Tan. Her debut middle grade novel, “A Kind of Paradise,” was just published with HarperCollins.

Atlas General Store will be hosting Maven Beauty custom lip bar from 5 to 9 p.m. Maven Beauty will be onsite with their full line of custom made lip products. In addition, Atlas General Store will be featuring all Fulton & Roark men’s cologne and body products at a discounted rate just in time for Father’s Day.

Danner’s Deli will be having an “All American Night,” featuring hot dogs, apple pie and baseball. All dads can enter to win Barnstormers tickets and choice of a baseball hat or t-shirt.

Zum Anker Alley Shoppes will be serving refreshments, and there’s 30% discounts on select items. Forgiven will be playing on the patio, weather permitting

Appierances is celebrating dads and grads. Put dad’s name in the drawing for a canvas dopp travel kit (retail $70 ). Put grad’s name in the drawing for a male or female mani/pedi.

Pebbles & Lace will host a fundraiser for ALS treatment and prevention. The garden will be open by donation to the ALS Foundation. Spend a few minutes or an hour enjoying music, flowers and refreshments. They are supporting Team Stormy — a friend who battles this devastating disease with great bravery. No suggested amount. Give as you can.

Purple Robin Reserve will host a free watercolor painting demonstration by partner artist Debra Smith from 6 to 8 p.m.

Josiah’s Oils is hosting young entrepreneurs for the Kids Biz Expo. There will be hand made jewelry, soaps, art, baked goods, and verse of the day chalk boards — all made by kids — from 5 to 9 p.m. in Otto79.

Heavenly Soaps and Scents will be featuring new soaps for dads from the Soap Distillery.

Lititz Historical Foundation welcomes genealogist Kristin Wenger, who willl present on how to begin your family research, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Burns Weaver will perform in the Wilbur Chocolate parking lot all evening.

Ewebiquitous will hosting Lucy Kalenich, who will be demonstrating the art of making wool Christmas trees. As usual, they will be serving homemade sheep cookies.

Calkins Vine and the Branches will host The Gilded Pear Trunk Show. Stop by and enjoy hors d’oeuvres, gilded pear cocktails, wine and sweets from 5 to 8 p.m.
