Tickets for the 18th annual Lititz Chocolate Walk go on sale July 1. This year’s walk will be held Saturday, Oct. 12, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., with more than 25 locations sampling chocolate treats.

A Chocolate for Charity event, the Lititz Chocolate Walk not only is a day where people come and enjoy all the fantastic chocolate offerings, but it also a fundraiser for the children’s charities that benefit from the proceeds.

All the chefs, bakers, ice cream makers, and chocolatiers donate their time and food. The merchants open their doors, providing locations for the chocolatiers, and generous sponsors help cover the costs.

Over the past 18 years, The Kiwanis Club of Lititz Area has raised over $600,000 for the children’s charities that benefit from all the happy chocoholics who have strolled the streets of Lititz.

The number of tickets are limited to 2,000. With this event being sold out very early in recent years, Walkers are encouraged to buy tickets early.

Online ticket prices are $42.50, and people buying tickets in person pay $40 when paying in cash or check at selling locations, including Wilbur Chocolate, the Lititz and Manheim Township Public Libraries and Schreiber Pediatric. After Labor Day, if there are still tickets available, the ticket prices increase by $5.

A complete list of selling locations, and the ticketing link, are available at and the Lititz Chocolate Walk Facebook page.
