July 22 is the final outdoor concert of the season for the Ephrata Concert Band. Martin Hinkley will conduct the 7:15 p.m. performance on the band shell at the foot of Cocalico Street in Ephrata Borough’s Grater Park.

The show will include “Festival Parade,” a march composed by John H. Enck. More than 40 years ago, Enck founded the band that established a tradition of admission-free summertime concerts for the Ephrata area community, with each concert featuring a different program of diverse musical genres.

At the concert intermission, hot dogs, lemonade, bottled water and other treats will be on sale at nominal cost. Donations to the band will be accepted. The public is encouraged to bring folding chairs to the concert.

In the event of extreme weather, the concert will be moved inside the Ephrata Recreation Center at 130 S. Academy Drive.
