Park Place Is Fresh, Fun and Delicious

Summertime eating has never been more tasty than at Park Place restaurant, where you can enjoy the flavors of the season.

There are lots of fresh salads, like the tropical fruit salad, honey fried chicken salad, chicken Caesar salad and steakhouse salad. You’ll find all sorts of sandwiches, like classic BLTs and club sandwiches. There are also new appetizers that are fun for sharing or a snack anytime of the day, like the chicken Cordon Bleu bites or the cheesesteak eggrolls.

Park Place restaurant and bakery is located on Route 272, not far from the Denver exit to the Pennsylvania Turnpike. The Park Place is owned by brothers Louie and Tony Antonellos, who have been welcoming people for more than a dozen years.

Some people may still remember the location as the former Zinnís Diner, with Amos out in front. He no longer stands in front of the beautifully updated restaurant and bakery.

Now Park Place has a fresh, open look with plenty of seating inside. There are three dining areas, including a casual park-place-diner-denver-paseating area, a more elegant dining room and a counter area that’s right next to the dessert case filled with delicious sweets like cheesecake, fruit pie, chocolate cake, cream pie, chocolate mousse treats and carrot cake.

The menu at Park Place is so huge, you could come in everyday and still get something different each time. Of course, lots of people have their favorites and the Park Place staff caters to these dedicated regulars. They get to know your name and just how you like your coffee or your eggs over easy with light toast.

“We have customers who come in several times a week, and some come in as often as three times a day,” says Louie.

Park Place has breakfast all day, which means you can enjoy all the Park Place breakfast choices like farm fresh eggs cooked to order, all sorts of omelets, pancakes, French toast, Belgian waffles, creamed chipped beef, eggs Benedict and fresh fruit. Hearty appetites love the Breakfast Combos, like the Lumber Jack with French toast, eggs, sausage, bacon and ham, or the Hungry Man Breakfast with pancakes, three eggs, sausage, bacon and ham.

Lunch offers choices like paninis, Reubens, French dip, cheesesteaks, salads, soups, tuna melts, wraps, burgers, beef gyro, chicken Margarita sandwich and lots more. Diner classics include all your favorites, such as chicken croquettes, lasagna, roast turkey, grilled chicken breast, meatloaf, fried chicken, pasta dishes and stir-fried dishes.

Park Plfrench-fries-park-placeace has an abundance of seafood, including salmon, broiled shrimp, broiled sea scallops, fried flounder, jumbo lump crabcakes and seafood platters. Meats range from Porterhouse steak to pork chops to baby back ribs. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, they have tender, juicy prime rib.

Every day has lots of daily specials. There are also Early Bird specials like meatloaf, chicken breast, eggplant parmigiana, baked ham and cheese ravioli, with soup, vegetable and dessert. There are also kids menu items, Greek selections and tasty bakery treats. Be sure to check out the customer loyalty program. When you purchase a gift/rewards card for $30 or more, you get an additional 10% on the card. You can use it as often as you like with no expiration date.

Park Place offers free WiFi in the restaurant, which is great for people who want to have business meetings or get work done in a relaxing setting.
