Rob Reese will perform at Farmers Market

By on August 26, 2015

Rob Reese will be the featured entertainer at the Lititz Farmers Market on Aug. 27.

Rob got his first taste of music hearing his mother sing harmony to an old hymn in church. Throughout his childhood, he fiddled around with a “junky old classical guitar” that the family kept lying around. Classically trained as a trumpet player, he asked for an electric guitar for Christmas during his middle school years.

He practiced the guitar four to six hours every day, and within nine months was doing the solo to “Crazy Train” behind his head. Currently, Rob plays with Victory Church Lititz Campus and is working on starting a jazz fusion group which may stray to progressive metal. He has been a teacher for three years.

The Lititz Farmers Market is open Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon, through Oct. 31, on Water Street, half a block from East Main. Visit
