It was a perfect midsummer’s night at Thomas P. Grater Park in Ephrata as the strains of the Kelly Bell Band, Tuesday night’s edition of the Concert by the Creek, melded into the soft evening air. The group, voted a best blues band in the mid-Atlantic region for a dosen consecutive years, performed their signature sounds as well as funk and rock selections whic they characterize as “phat blues.” The band played well into the setting darkness, with the audience dancing in front of the stage till the very end.
