Lititz Family Cupboard Celebrates 14 Years of Goodness
For Valentine’s Day, visit Lititz Family Cupboard for an extra sweet Valentine’s Day buffet—their seafood buffet with special features like bacon-wrapped scallops, stuffed flounder, and assorted desserts made with fresh Florida strawberries. Enjoy these delicious eats and much more Friday, February 14 from 4-8 pm for just $13.59.
For owners Chris and Karen Fisher, it has been a wonderful 14 years as the Lititz Family Cupboard has grown into a successful local favorite, after purchasing it from the Dienner family in 2001.
Within the first eight years, the Fishers saw the number of employees triple, and it was time to expand. In 2008, Bakery at the Cupboard opened, giving retail customers the opportunity to buy the made from-scratch desserts found in the restaurant. To day, the Lititz Family Cupboard continues to accomplish its mission of serving fresh, quality food in an at-home, friendly atmosphere.
In 2010, the Fishers opened the doors of Tomato Pie Cafe, an urban style eatery in downtown Lititz featuring a full espresso bar and a simple but artful menu. The quaint cafe was an instant hit, and a second location opened in Harrisburg in 2012. The unique blend of classic charm and contemporary fl air—not to mention the famous tomato pie— keeps customers coming back for more.
Ta king on the restaurant business has been a family venture for the Fishers. Chris and Karen are joined by their four adult children who have served in a variety of roles from barista to controller to manager throughout the years.
Lititz Family Cupboard will feature a day of prizes, fun and special promotions on Wednesday, February 26, in appreciation of the loyal customers and employees who have contributed to its success.
“A big thank you to all you patrons who have so faithfully supported us for 14 years,” say Chris and Karen Fisher, along with their children. “A nd for the best team a business could ask for.” Here’s to another 14 years!
