Travelogue will visit Northern Europe
The third Rotary Club of Lititz Travel and Adventure Series will be held Saturday, Nov. 14, at the Warwick High School Performing Arts Center, 301 W. Orange St. There are two performances, at 2 and 7:30 p.m. Music by Doug LaSala begins 30 minutes before each show.
The travelogue will feature “Northern Europe” with Marlin Darrah as the professional cinematographer. This journey through Northern Europe gives the viewer a sample some of the great natural wonders, architectural treasures, and cultural and artistic highlights of several cities and countries. There are inspired scenes from St. Petersburg, Moscow, Prague, Copenhagen, Kiel Canal, Bergen (Norway), Amsterdam, Antwerp, London and Paris. It’s a delicious sampler of fjords, fish markets, art museums, cathedrals, lively pedestrian streets, great canals and bridges, palaces and parks, and meetings with fascinating Northern Europeans.
General admission tickets are sold at the door. Adult tickets cost $6; students are $3. For more information contact Randy at 626-8895 or visit ititzrotary.com.
