Valentine’s party at Eicher Arts

By on February 4, 2015

The Eicher Arts Center welcomes back Lavacave for a special Valentine’s Day party on Saturday, Feb. 14. The evening includes a meal, music and dancing. Couples and singles are welcome.

Lavacave is a retro-pop, gypsy punk, cabaret, acoustic trio, who defies description and must be seen to be believed. Their music is catchy, melodic, sometimes quirky, sometimes gut-wrenching; with great harmonies, superior musicianship, and is thoroughly danceable. With Robin Chambers on violin and vocals, Nick DiSanto (of One-Man Band fame) on guitar, vocals and drums (simultaneously) and Donna Volles on bass, the show is equally enjoyable for those who prefer to sit and watch.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m., the music begins at 7 p.m. Tickets cost $15 ($12 for Eicher members). Admission includes a light fare menu of soup, salad bar, small plate and a chocolate fountain with dipping bar, provided by Intermezzo by Stephanie, as well as hot and cold drinks. BYOB encouraged for those over 21. RSVP required by Feb. 10.
