? Saturday, April 7, EPAC
? Easter Sunday, April 8, benefits the Ephrata Public Library
? Monday, April 9, benefits the Ephrata Women’s Club
All tickets are $5 at the door, and $1 from every ticket sold and 10 percent of the concession sales will go directly to that day’s charity.
The funding is especially crucial for the Ephrata Post Prom committee, which is currently looking for more volunteers for the event (Memorial Day weekend). Help is needed with set-up and clean-up the night of the post prom. Any time would greatly be appreciated. It takes many to put on an event such as this.
Help would begin May 24 in the evening with loading trucks and hanging plastic. Assistance is also needed May 25 with hanging plastic in the high school cafeteria and beginning set-up. May 26 and 27 would consist of continuing set-up, working the community open house 6:30 to 8 p.m., working the event 11 p.m. to 5 a.m., and cleaning starting at 11 a.m.
Anyone interested in volunteering any time during the event May 26 from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. should contact Lisa Kachel, volunteer coordinator at email@example.com. Anyone interested in helping with set-up, open house and/or clean-up should contact Patti at firstname.lastname@example.org or 721-7721.
Volunteers are also needed to help with painting and glittering decorations, Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
For location/directions call Kendra Rhinier at 587-6563. E-mail Kendra at email@example.com to make a prize donation.
New York City fundraising bus trips for next fall and spring have been for Nov. 10 and April 27. Seat reservations will begin Sept. 1 for the November trip by contacting Patti at firstname.lastname@example.org or 721-7721.
Donations continue to be appreciated and can be mailed to Ephrata Post Prom, P.O. Box 664 Ephrata, Pa. 17522. Checks may be made payable to: Ephrata Post Prom Committee.
The Ephrata Post Prom community open house will take place 6:30 to 8 p.m. May 26 at the Ephrata High School cafeteria. More ‘HOP’, page A16
