By on June 2, 2016

Hear music, see a cooking demonstration, browse a health fair and eat great food at the 63rd annual Day in the Park.

The Ephrata Community Health Foundation is sponsoring the event from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 4, in Grater Memorial Park in Ephrata. The event features food, fun and family entertainment, including the health fair and cooking demonstration, Bingo, a flower and book sale, children’s games, live music, dance performances, inflatables, a car cruise, a community business expo and an arts and crafts fair.

The day also features both a quilt raffle and a quacker raffle, featuring gift certificates and merchandise from local businesses. Tickets for either raffle can be purchased at the information tent on the day of the event, or in advance at the WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital gift shop. Winners do not need to be present to win. All winners will be notified by email June 6.

Proceeds from the event benefit the Cancer Patient Help Fund, which will help Ephrata Cancer Center patients with temporary assistance for daily living necessities, such as rent, utilities, transportation expenses, clothing or food.
