Scores of workers from the local Plain communities stopped whatever they were doing, suspended projects, and set aside personal matters to help rebuild two barns destroyed by fire at a dairy farm in Clay Township on Friday morning.

With most excavation work completed almost immediately, the barn raising on the first structure was completed on Monday.

Crews immediately went to work and the structural walls of the second building were up by Tuesday morning.

An Ephrata Review video of the barn raising reached nearly 400,000 on Facebook in 48 hours and was shared almost 3,000 times.
