‘Peter and the Starcatcher’ opens Friday at EHS

Looking for adventure? Check out Ephrata High School’s fall production of “Peter and the Starcatcher” on Friday, Nov. 15 and Saturday, Nov. 16 at Hammon Auditorium.

The story is a prequel to Peter Pan, and the tale comes with an interesting cast of characters.

Boy, who is named Peter, is played by Adam Smith, and orphans Prentiss (Riley Martin) and Ted (Peter Smith) forge a bond with Molly (Maya Burdick) as they travel aboard the Neverland.
Bill Slank (Ethan Reimel), Alf (Jacob Welsh), Mack (Mathias Sweigart), Black Stache (Brett Devlin), Smee (Chandler Eby), Fighting Prawn (Gordon Cahill), Teacher (Shiloh Keeler), Mrs. Brumbrake (Jamie Lanza), Lord Aster (Noah Powlus), Capt. Scott (Chandler Myers), and Grempkin (Katie Collier) round out the cast who take part in the adventure.

The EHS box office will open the day of performances at 6 p.m., with the performance at 7 p.m. All seats are reserved. All sales are final. Tickets are students: $5 and adults: $7. Come out and support your high school theatre program.
