Tennis before the storm

By on March 6, 2013

Cocalico tennis players began their spring workouts earlier this week, braving the temperatures prior to the expected snow storm that was to hit the area Wednesday. As of 10 a.m. Wednesday morning, however, not one flake had fallen as the storm veered a little more south than expected. While schools were closed Wednesday, the area still was expected to get some of the white stuff later in the day. One to three inches was still in the forecast, with a winter storm warning remaining in effect until 2 a.m. Thursday. (Photo by Preston Whitcraft)
