How about some hearty shepherd’s pie with beef, tomato sauce and green beans topped with creamy mashed potatoes? It’s comfort food with the luck ‘o the Irish. For dessert, have a luscious Bailey’s Irish Cream cupcake. Then for Easter, you will find the chocolate peanut butter Easter eggs irresistible. They are freshly made and available only for a short time. There are lots of other  wonderful Easter and springtime treats, like lemon meringue pie, lemon sponge pie, coconut cream pie, coconut cake, carrot cake and decorated cupcakes. Don’t forget the hot cross buns, potato Zigs_001rolls and other flavors for Easter dinner. Located in the renovated 1800s brick barn, Zig’s Bakery & Café at Brick Gables is at 800 East Newport Road.
