Aaron ‘Ace’ W. Sensenig, 76, Ephrata, truck driver for Favorite Mfg., enjoyed hunting and fishing

Aaron “Ace” W. Sensenig, 76, of Ephrata, passed away Sunday, Feb. 1, 2015, at his residence.

He was born in New Holland to the late Hershey B. and Violet G. (Wanner) Sensenig and was the husband of Irene (Sensenig) Sensenig with whom he shared 52 years of marriage.

He was a member of Speedwell Heights Brethren In Christ Church. Aaron was a truck driver for Favorite Manufacturing, also worked at Ludwig Office Furniture and bought tobacco for Lancaster Leaf. After retirement, he had various part-time jobs. He loved hunting, fishing and playing games.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by five children: Roger Sensenig of Ephrata; Sharon, wife of Ivan Reiff of Lititz; Trevor, husband of Roxanne (Heisey) Sensenig of East Earl; Jacqueline Sensenig of Manheim; Mandy, wife of Dwayne Hoffman of Lititz; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren; two sisters: Mildred Musser of Denver; and Viola, wife of John Nolt of Lebanon.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers: Paul, Ivan and David; and five sisters: Anna Mae, Ada, Gracetta, Edna and Elva.

A viewing will be held Thursday, Feb. 5, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Manheim Brethren in Christ Church, 54 N. Penryn Road, Manheim. A memorial service will take place Feb. 6 at 11 a.m. at the church, with Pastor Adam Forrey officiating. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
