Ada Mae Weaver, 100, homemaker, mother of three, lifetime member of Hess Mennonite

Ada Mae (Bucher) Weaver, 100, of Lancaster, formerly of Ephrata, went to be with the Lord on March 19, 2018, at the Mennonite Home.

She was born in Manheim Township to the late Jonas Hess and Ada Mae (Peifer) Bucher, and was the wife of the late Warren Weaver, who passed away in 2014.

She was a member of Crossroads Community and was a lifetime member of Hess Mennonite Church. Ada was a homemaker.

Ada is survived by a son: William Jay, husband of Alice Weaver; a daughter-in-law: Dorothy Weaver; a brother: Melvin Bucher; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sons: Ronald W. Weaver, Theodore Lee Weaver; two brothers: Chester Bucher, Elam Bucher; a sister: Esther Hollinger; and a great-grandson.

Services were March 24 at Crossroads Community Fellowship, Lititz, with Pastor Kyle Buckwalter and Pastor Glen Sell officiating. Interment took place in the Hess Mennonite Cemetery.
