Anna M. Schmeck, 72, sewing machine operator at Dutchmaid, Gerber, enjoyed casinos

Anna M. Schmeck, 72, formerly of Stevens, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2018, at Hospice and Community Care of Mount Joy.

Anna was born Feb. 4, 1946, to Edward L. Butterfield and Dorothy M. Robinson in Bakersfield, Calif. She was the wife of the late Barry R. Schmeck, who died in 2012.

Preceding Anna in death were her parents; a brother: Charles Klader; a son: Dwayne Good; granddaughters: Kirsten Dom, Tania Firestone: and a grandson Vincent Firestone.

Anna is survived by her children: Connie A. Firestone of Lebanon, Troy W. Good of Lebanon, Barry W. Good Jr. of Reading, Cynthia D. Peters of Ephrata, Dorothy L. Musser, of Ephrata,, Robert G. Good of Lebanon. Also, surviving are three stepsons: Dennis Schmeck (Valerie), of Reinholds, Kevin Schmeck of Reading, Jeff Schmeck (Tracy) of Reinholds; 23 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews and nieces.

Anna’s surviving siblings are: Marion Means, wife of Kevin Cummings of Newmanstown; Sandra Hostetter of Bowmansville; Frank Butterfield (Mary) of Florida

Anna worked as a sewing machine operator at both Dutchmaid and Gerber manufacturing companies. She loved crocheting, crafting, casinos, and bingo.

Services were held March 27 at Gravenor Home for Funerals, Ephrata. Interment was in Memory Gardens, Ephrata.
