B. Virginia Gosling, 87, shopper for Donecker’s, Hamilton Tech. inspector
B. Virginia Gosling, 87, of Ephrata, entered into rest Friday, July 26, 2013 at the Ephrata Manor.
She was born in Ephrata to the late Leroy and Caroline Mohler.
Ginny was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She loved spending time with her family, enjoyed playing cards with her friends and loved to swim and sit in the sun. She worked as in inspector at Hamilton Technology and as a personal shopper at the former Donecker’s of Ephrata.
She is survived by her daughters: Barbara "Babs," wife of Robert J. Lilley of Ephrata; Deb Schaufert of Lancaster; Suzette, wife of Michael Owens of Florida; Virginia "Ginger," wife of Steve Miles of Stevens; her sons: Barry, husband of MaryAnn (Brubaker) Gosling of Ariz.; Robert Gosling of Ephrata; Tom, husband of Lisa (Saylor) Gosling of Denver; 15 grandchildren: Regina (Lilley) Jarvis; Brent and Todd Strickler; Dustin Chambers; Brendon and Dana Schaufert; Rachael (Owens) McGuinness; Carlyn Owens; Ian, Amanda, Deanna, Zachary and Brock Gosling; Morgan Givler and Joshua Miles; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; her sisters: Viola Althouse of Ephrata; Evelyn Eberly of Texas, Dorie, wife of Nicholas Verna of Lebanon and Nancy Heisey of Denver.
She was preceded in death by a son: William J. Gosling Jr. and two sisters: Dorothy Zentmeyer and Roberta Watson.
A mass of christian burial celebration was held July 30 at Our Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Ephrata, with Father John McLoughlin C.SS.R. as celebrant. Final commendation and farewell will be held in the Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in Ginny’s memory may be made to the Ephrata Manor, who provided excellent loving care to our mother, 99 Bethany Rd., Ephrata, PA 17522.
