Betty A. Schweitzer, 90, of Adamstown, died March 8, 2016, in Denver Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Calcium, Berks County, she was a daughter of the late James N. and Arlene (Brobst) Musket. Her husband, Richard Schweitzer, died Jan. 7, 2000.

She was a member and active in the social ministry of Peace United Church Church, ladies auxiliary of the Adamstown and Reinholds VFW, enjoyed playing hausenpfeffer and marbles and cherished her grandchildren. Betty retired from Bollman Hat Co.

Surviving is her daughter: Jean L. (Randy O.) Good; sons: Richard P. (Vickie Specht) Schweitzer; and Mark A. (Cindy Nye) Schweitzer; all of Adamstown; and Stephen J. (Anita Hurst) Schweitzer, Dallas; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Services were held March 14 at Peace UCC, Denver, with the Rev. William E. Hoch officiating. Inurnment will be Friday, March 18, at 10 a.m. in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Adamstown.
