Betty Cammauf, 84, homemaker

Betty Lou (Houser) Cammauf, 84, of Lititz, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at Hospice of Lancaster County.

She was born in Lock Haven, a daughter of the late Roland and Pauline (Thatcher) Houser. She was the wife of Wilbur Cammauf of Lititz, to whom she shared 65 years of marriage.

Betty was a member of the Salem United Methodist Church in Lititz. She was a dedicated housewife and mother. She was a graduate of the Rothsville High School.

Betty enjoyed traveling, going to the mountains, playing the piano and organ, decorating, cross-stitch and crocheting.

In addition to her husband she is survived by a son: Rick, husband of Carol Cammauf, of Lititz; a daughter: Dixie, wife of Lloyd Stauffer, of Lititz; two grandsons; five great-grandchildren; a brother: Richard, husband of Jane (Shriner) Houser, of Lititz; and a sister: Patsy Whirt, of Ephrata.

She was preceded in death by a brother: Harold Houser.

Funeral services were held June 6 at Stradling Funeral Home with Pastor David Unangst officiating. Interment followed in Millport Cemetery.
