Bruce Boyer Sr., 56, EHS grad, self-employed painter, enjoyed playing 500 rummy
Bruce Boyer Sr., 56, of Ephrata, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2017, in Ephrata.
Bruce was born in Ephrata to Jonathon H. Boyer and Josephine R. (Baringer) Boyer on September 11, 1960.
He graduated from Ephrata High School and was a self-employed painter. He was a quiet and reflective man, but he loved to play chess; cards, particularly 500 Rummy; and dominos. Bruce was an active member of Ephrata Community Church.
Bruce is survived by a son: Bruce E. Boyer Jr. of Philadelphia; and two brothers and a sister: Lynne D. Boyer, husband of Joyce (Kurtz), of Ephrata; Joni L. (Boyer) Rusnak, of Lexington, S.C.; and Brian J. Boyer of Akron.
Services were held Feb. 21 at the Ephrata Community Church, with the Rev. Stevin Hoffman officiating.
