Carolyn Texter, 85, Denver, mother of four, enjoyed cooking, gardening and flowers

Carolyn Texter, 85, of Denver, passed away Sunday, Nov. 29, 2015, at home.

She was born in Alleghenyville to the late Fredrick and Katie (Sweitzer) Ziemer, and was the wife of the late Paul Texter Sr. who died in 2001.

Carolyn enjoyed cooking, gardening, flowers, and housekeeping.

Carolyn is survived by three daughters: Gloria Texter of Denver; Joyce, wife of the late James Neischwender, of Denver; Shirley, wife of the late Ralph Klopp, of Wernersville; a son: Paul Jr., husband of Karen (Zerbe) Texter, of Denver; a brother: James Ziemer of Bowmansville; two granddaughters: Tracey and Marie; two great-grandchildren: Angelisa and Logan.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother: Edwin Ziemer; a sister: Stella Matz; and a granddaughter: Vicki Gehman.

Funeral services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
