Carrie M. Zimmerman, 69, worked at Style Craft Corp., enjoyed camping, bingo, and crafts

Carrie M. Zimmerman, 69, of Denver, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2017, at WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital.

She was born in Vinemont to the late Violet (Walker) and Norman Grumbling Sr., and was the wife of Carl Zimmerman, with whom she would have celebrated 47 years on Dec. 25.

Carrie enjoyed bingo, crafts, and camping at the Starlight Camping Resort. She loved her family, and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Carrie had worked as a cabinet maker for Style Craft Corporation, Terre Hill.

In addition to her husband, Carrie is survived by three children: Ken E. Zimmerman, fiancé of Amy L. Druck; April L. and husband, Kevin Morgan; Jesse A. Zimmerman and wife, Elizabeth; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; four siblings: Gerald Grumbling, Delores Becker, Audrey Moyer, and Gloria Grumbling.

She was preceded in death by two brothers: Norman Grumbling Jr. and Ralph Grumbling; and a sister: Helen Schmeck.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
