Cathryn K. Oberholtzer, 81, in-home caregiver, ECH worker, Springville Mennonite member

Cathryn K. Oberholtzer, 81, of Cocalico Christian Home in Denver, formerly of Lebanon County, passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at Fairmount Homes.

She was born in Upper Leacock Township to the late Aaron L. and Katie S. (Kreider) Oberholtzer.

She was a member of Springville Mennonite Church, Ephrata. In earlier years, Cathryn worked in the bakery for Dutch-Way, and the laundry department for Ephrata Community Hospital. She most recently was a private in-home caregiver.

Cathryn is survived by a sister: Mary, married to Ivan Nolt; a brother: Nathan, married to Miriam (Nolt) Oberholtzer of Denver; three sisters-in-law: Katie, married to Phares Newswanger of Newmanstown; Anna Mary, widow of the late Adin Oberholtzer of Ephrata; Edna Mae, widow of the late Mahlon Oberholtzer of Ronks; and 44 nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers: Norman, Irwin, Aaron, Paul, and John Jacob Oberholtzer; three sisters: Martha, Elsie, and Edna Oberholtzer; and four nephews.

Services were held April 30 at Pequea Mennonite Church, Gordonville, with Bishop Melvin Martin officiating. Interment took place in the adjoining church cemetery. Kindly omit flowers.
