Charles Mohler Jr., 67, Ephrata, ordained minister, active member of local fire police

Charles “Charlie” Wallace Mohler Jr. 67, of Ephrata, passed away Thursday, Feb. 26, 2015, after a two-year battle with cancer.
He was the son of the late Charles Wallace Mohler Sr. and the late Maggie Mae Howe.
Charlie was an ordained minister with United Faith Ministry and was pleased to have performed many weddings. He was an active member of the fire police with Martindale and Fivepointville Fire Companies. Charlie enjoyed hunting and fishing with his brother and nephews. Before retiring, Charlie was employed by Meadow Valley Electric and Ezra Good Trucking.
Charlie is survived by his brother: Carl Mohler, husband of Rose; and three sisters: Mae (Howe) Mertz, wife of John Mertz of Denver; Leona (Mohler) Schmuck, wife of the late Galen Schmuck, of Denver; and Rosalie (Mohler) Walker, wife of Paul Walker of Virginia.
Charlie was preceded in death by his parents and brothers: Isaac Howe, John Howe, Robert Howe, William Howe, and James Howe; and a sister: Elizabeth (Howe) Spang.
