Deaths of Local Interest – May 21, 2014

Romaine S. Miller, 83, of New Holland, died unexpectedly at Lancaster General Hospital ER May 13. She was the wife of Wilbur D. Miller with whom she shared almost 56 years of marriage. Romaine was a homemaker and currently attended Petra Christian Fellowship. Her daughter, Marcella (wife of Mark Reynolds), lives in Terre Hill.

Raymond Pujale, Jr., 59, of Marysville, died May 11. Ray enjoyed life. He was an established and well-known musician whose drumming capabilities were appreciated by many and was best recognized as the drummer for Southbound, a Country Rock band that performed in Central PA in the 70s and 80s. He was also a member of Wayward Daddies, a band who played local clubs and associations in the Ephrata and Lititz area.

Peter J. Segro, 84, of Lancaster, passed away May 18 at Hospice & Community Care, Mount Joy. Peter was employed by Armstrong Cork Co. and RCA. He was a member of Historic St. Mary’s Catholic Church. His nephew, James F. Guerra, husband of Kathleen, lives in Ephrata.

Mary S. Seymour, 79, of New Holland, passed away May 16 at home with family. In mid-life she earned an education degree from Millersville University and for 25 years was an elementary school teacher for Eastern Lancaster County School District. Teaching children was her passion. Her son, Shaun A. Seymour II, resides in Ephrata.
