Dennis E. Wulterkens, 70, Navy vet, Met Ed control room operator, enjoyed bowling, Packers

Dennis E. Wulterkens, 70, of Adamstown, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2016, at Lancaster General Hospital.
He was born in Appleton, Wisc., to the late Conrad T. and Delores (Becker) Wulterkens; and was the husband of Kimberly (Snyder) Wulterkens, with whom he celebrated nine years of marriage on Dec. 15.
Dennis proudly served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Era. He was employed as a control room operator for Met Ed for 38 years, and enjoyed fishing, skiing, golfing, bowling, and the Green Bay Packers.
In addition to his wife, Dennis is survived by a daughter: Kristin Wulterkens of Arlington, Va.; a step-daughter: Amy, wife of Michael Zeller, of Denver; two beloved grandchildren: Maddie and Katie Mattos; a brother: Jim, husband of Joanne (Wichman) Wulterkens, of Wisconsin; and a sister: Sharon, wife of Dennis Lenz, of Wisconsin.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a twin brother: Donald Wulterkens.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
