Edith R. Hainley, 98, formerly of Reinholds, farmer’s wife, worked at Green Dragon

Edith R. Hainley, 98, of Fairmount Homes Retirement Community, Ephrata, formerly of Reinholds, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2014, at Fairmount Homes.

She was born in Richland to Paul and Annie (Moyer) Sonnen and was the wife of the late Stephen B. Hainley.

She was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Millbach, and she enjoyed gardening. Edith was a farmer’s wife; she also worked as a clerk for Henry’s Produce, and Harting’s Bakery at the Green Dragon Farmer’s Market.

Edith is survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her husband; she was preceded in death by a sister: Verna Gress; and a brother: Glenn Sonnen.

Services were held May 24 at Roseboro Stradling Funeral Home, Denver, with Pastor Richard Cook officiating. Burial was in the Millbach Community Cemetery in Millcreek Twp., Lebanon County.
