Elizabeth W. Martin, 88, Stevens, Denver Mennonite member, had 126 great-grandchildren

Elizabeth W. Martin, 88, of Stevens, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2017, at home.

She was born in East Earl Township to the late Henry M. and Lucy G. (Weber) Martin, and was the wife of Titus W. Martin, with whom she shared 67 years of marriage.

She was a member of Denver Mennonite Church.

In addition to her husband, Elizabeth is survived by two sons: Harold M. Martin, husband of Naomi (Gingrich), of Womelsdorf; and Clyde M. Martin, husband of Hilda (Stoltzfus), of Bethel; three daughters: Janet, wife of Harold Sensenig, of Smyrna, Del.; Jane, wife of Raymond Zook, of Mendon, Mass.; and Lucy, wife of Jay Martin, of Ripley, N.Y.; 38 grandchildren; 126 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; five brothers: Andrew, Henry, and Warren Martin, all of Reinholds; Rufus Martin of Lititz; and John Martin of Ephrata.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son: Lamar Martin; a great-grandson: Jolan Klassen; and five sisters: Pauline Martin, Lucy Eberly, Beatrice Martin Good, Anna Good, and Esther Martin.

Services were held Feb. 14 at Denver Mennonite Church, Denver, with officiating ministry: Wilmer Weaver, Merle Sensenig, Luke Sensenig, and Ray Auker. Interment will take place in the adjoining church cemetery. Kindly omit flowers.
