Ethel D. Deemer, 98, Lititz resident since 1950, former shoe factory employee

Ethel E. Deemer, 98, of Lititz, formerly of Lebanon County, passed away Friday, May 16, 2014 at Lancashire Hall.

Born in Kleinfeltersville, Ethel was a daughter of the late Martin L. and Mary (Heffelfinger) Bennetch. Ethel’s husband, the late Ralph C. Deemer, passed away in 1982.

She was a shoe factory employee and had been a Lititz resident since 1950.

Ethel is survived by a daughter: Ann N., wife of Gary Lintner; two grandchildren: Alana and Shane Lintner; and a great-granddaughter, Lexus Lintner, all of Mt. Joy. She is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.

Services were held May 20 at Brickerville United Lutheran Church, Lititz, with the Rev. Dan Cloyd officiating. She was buried in the adjoining St. John’s Cemetery.
