Ethel Walbert, 91, Ephrata, Dutchmaid office worker, Grace E.C. Church member

Ethel Walbert, 91, of 560 Stevens Road, Ephrata, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2015, at Manor Care, Lancaster.

She was born in Lancaster, to the late Samuel and Lillie (Hartranft) McEllhenney.

Ethel was a lifelong member of Grace E.C. Church, Ephrata, where she was a member of the adult missionary society and WCTU. She worked for Dutchmaid Inc. in the office for 19 years before retiring in 1985.

Ethel is survived by a son: Elwood Jay Walbert of Florida; nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by five brothers: Clair, Clayton, Edmond, Emery, and Harvey McEllhenney; five sisters: Anna Wenzel, Mabel Spotts, Irene Cammauf, Aradell Cline, and an infant sister.

Services were held Feb. 21 at Stradling Funeral Home, Ephrata, with Pastor Philip Walck officiating. Interment took place in Mohler’s Brethren Cemetery, Ephrata.
